I wanted to share this with you. Scouting through some files one night, this popped up. Written to me .. ah, I have no date. But it was years ago, just before we both went to see David Icke giving a lecture.

It made me think of the old days, and I liked that.

    So wahts new?  Tis Friday tea time!!! Mia`s just made some
mulled wine, it tastes a bit fresh!

    1 x bottle of cheapo red wine
    some Cinnamon
         cloves
         ginger
         nutmeg
         orange juice (only a little)
         little bit of sugar

  Boil some water, .5 pint,  add spices etc, allow to simmer for a few mins
Then sieve out the lumps! add wine,orange juice and sugar. Drink.
  Traditional fireworks type drink!  It cleans your mugs too.

So you said write lots in your last letter type thang, but what do
you say, eh?
 Mia`s peering over my shoulder occasionally correcting my spelling or
making quiete little `Fnnarrr` noises. Writing with an audience is a
little more difficult I think.

 So, what sort of things do we like?

 Music,Art,Psychology,Philosophy,Sociology er  that sort of stuff
really. Communication. Thought. 

 Loud music,  Goth,punk,dance,indie,reggae,industrial,ambient etc

 Dossing around worrying/avoiding work is another fave pastime.
Mia likes walking, evan in winter. We`ve recently moved up here from
Brighton (ace place) where we`d walk the dog along beech in sub zero
conditions for several hours. Although now that isn`t an optoin I
kinda miss it.        Well the dog any way.
 
 We lived in Lincoln last year. That was ok, but kinda quiet. I wasn`t
too keen on Leicester but it seems ok really. Bigger than we`re used too
but not the crumbling metropolis we were expecting. 
 Managed to blag my way into a band within a couple of weeks and even
found a job after a little hassle. Generally we`re still settling in(???)
I suppose, Both a bit skint! Hence the dread of the phone bill!!

 The BBS`s are quite a laugh, Mia finds them fun, which has suprised me
as she doesnt normally get excited about the computer. Groove on!

  I cant think of bugger all to say. I think I mentioned that its too
easy, when using the computer to communicate, to end up waffling on about
computers. This can be really....mundane!

He`s right, I feel well gone, all heavy and lathargic.and its melting my
teeth!!Oh , the reason why I never seem to say anything even remotely
profound is ummm that I just don`t get time, being a completely useless 
typist and all.Swear words are the quickest unfortunately.
.....anyway er... what are/ were you up to this weekend ???
Did you have any of those indoor fireworks???? The long snakey ones are
the best...placid and sort of fluent...you know, not as scary as the 
heart stopping bangers etc.. I scare easily...Getting back to the long
 snakey ones, Tony told me today that when he was a cute young thing,
he thought they were real dead snakes, wondering how Standard etc used to
compress them into such tiny triangular shaped thingies....ahhhh what a
cutie!!!!!
Answering one of your questions, why did I fall for ol` Tone....Well,
 as strange as it seems now, I thought he was a bit of a groover on
the dancefloor. More likely I`d had a few too many ...ah well.
This band Tony`s joined are playing a gig in December so you`ll have to
come up to Leicester and cheer `em on and stuff.
What sort of music are you into????? I like small bits of everything
(all that mentioned above plus a bit of jazzzy type noises...
Galliano, Urban Species etc which the old man isn`t so keen on ;(   
So when were you in Lincoln??? I was up there last year doing the
first year of my course...Quite pretty but it didn`t really have 
much to offer fun loving idiots such as ourselves...
God I think I`ve been slaving over this keyboard for over half an hour
!!!!Actually, I dont think I`m that ashamed of not being able to type 
more than 2 wpm, I don`t ( or want to) conform to the stereotypical
crimson nailed, stiletto clad ....sorry I`m speaking a load of 
bollox, obviously time to say bye bye bella....Not very good at 
having conversations with myself.. go off on tangents etc  oh dear..

 I bought this magazine today, its new, issue one, called Audio Visuality
About telecomunications, multimedia new technology etc, any way there`s
an article on Amigas in there that is amazing!!! Worth a check out

 I spend a fortune on magazines, about 30 quid a month. I`ve got piles of em
all over the country! Most of my possesions have been spread over the country
cos we`ve been moving around a lot. I`m looking forward to being
in one place for 2 years, so I`ve managed to get a lot of stuff together
I got my beloved stereo a couple of weeks ago. :))))) Much joy I was
missing it badly. The A1200 normally sits in our spare room, we`re turning
it into a studio. Its quite small in there but its reasnoble, we need
some custom furniture (Christ I`m talking about furniture, sorry I do not
normally talk about furniture, honest!).

 What else am I/we into???????? 
Well, fun really, we like a laugh! We both like people. I think we find
everyone either strange or funny. Or both. Lifes strange.

Update: Spring 2002. That is not supposed to read Tony Shitface with the words blanked out. What happened is Tony's work colleagues were finding his name on this page after all these years by coming across it in search engines, then taking the piss out of him. I had to remove his full name so he now appears anonymous.

You hear of people contacting each other after years by finding their name on a webpage somewhere, well that's exactly what happened here. A few months ago Tony himself popped by. He couldn't believe it, finding some message he'd scribbled to me in the small hours some 6 or so years ago.
